I know just enough about computers to be dangerous to myself... lol... But i have been using this older version of Money plus 2007 for the last two months with out any problems. I originally used an even older version of money but when I upgraded to a new laptop (windows 8.1) the 2007 version was the only one I found that was compatible. I ordered it online, received it.. in original unopened packaging, I installed it, imported my older money files with out any problems and was up and running with out incident.
I never bothered to follow the activation prompts because I have no need for the online services, i use the program primarily as a check book and for tracking expenses, budget reports, etc... (plus I know ]the program is no longer supported). But today I guess I hit that 60 wall and it prompted that I would no longer be able to enter any type of transaction until after the program is activated. I have the original Product Key and entered the information... in return I received an error:"code 1020". I have internet access and the product key was entered correctly...
How can I get around this issue and get back to utilizing the program?
Need some help here, and please keep the answers simple to understand.... lol
