Money Sunset no longer produces sound

I have been using Money Sunset for many years without any problems. I am now using it on Windows 10 and it has been working fine. However, in the last couple of weeks while Money Sunset itself works OK,  it has stopped producing sound (sound when it is initiated and notification sound for certain operations). My Windows 10 PC is working as normal with all other sounds (apart from Money Sunset) working fine.
How do I get Money Sunset to restore its normal sounds?
