I’ve got Microsoft money installed on my main computer which is a 64 bit windows 7 pro. I have backed the current data up to a USB. I have Microsoft money installed on another computer with Windows 8.1 newly installed. I open the Money program and it displays all the latest data from the USB, but I cannot find a way of getting the second computer to save the data on it's own hard drive.
It opens reliably with the data on the USB and I can make changes to the data and save it back to the USB and the first computer and vica versa.
Don't suppose it's relevant but for the sake of clarity the second computer is an Apple Macbook Pro (64 bit) which is dual booted with 'Bootcamp' to Windows 8.1 which works very smoothly. Only done because Money and some Map software will not work with iMac.
